Lavender Springs Assisted Living is a reputable senior living community dedicated to providing a warm, enriching, and nurturing environment for our residents. We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Resident Care Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being, comfort, and engagement of our residents, thereby contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care with love, respect, and dignity.
Have the ability to prepare and cook product to menu specification as well as
understand and precisely follow recipes.
Memorize dietary and allergy restrictions of individual residents.
Memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and basic meal prep processes used in the kitchen.
Ensure that all sanitation standards are met.
Must be a motivated self starter with a guest centric attitude and mindset.
Dependable, punctual, presentable, organized and task oriented individual.
Ability to understand and adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols as well as company policies and procedures.
Work to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed.
Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the management.

Employee Misconduct Registry (nursing and healthcare positions)
Certification and Licensure Verification (nursing and healthcare positions)
All licensed Registered Nurses, Vocational Nurses, and other professionally licensed or certified personnel are required to keep their Texas licensures current. Their current licensure must be registered each year with the Executive Director and become part of their personnel file.
All team members must meet the following health precautions prior to beginning and sustain them during employment:
Clean drug test results
Clear tuberculosis test (Tuberculosis testing is required each year for all employees)
Hepatitis B vaccinations are offered
